Ready First (R1): Youth Sports

Youth athlete readiness starts at home. R1 is the daily check-in app that tells parents and coaches whether a young athlete is ready to train, compete, and grow, before they step on the field. Built for kids ages 6 to 17 across 40+ sports, R1 reads three domains that no other youth sports app tracks together: Mind, Body, and Energy. Each daily check-in takes minutes. The result is one clear signal: Rebuilding, Rising, or Ready, with specific guidance for what to do about it today. A child can look physically fine and still be mentally exhausted. Track only fitness and you miss the full picture. R1 reads all three: - Mind: confidence, focus, resilience, and motivation. - Body: movement quality and physical readiness, not just activity. - Energy: sleep, fueling, and recovery. Whether your child plays soccer, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, rugby, tennis, or any of 40+ sports, the guidance is personalized to them, not a generic plan. FOR PARENTS OF YOUNG ATHLETES See exactly where your child stands across Mind, Body, and Energy each day. Get clear, age-appropriate guidance for what to do next. No pressure, no guilt for a missed day. Just an honest picture of your young athlete and a practical next step. FOR YOUTH SPORTS COACHES See every athlete's readiness before practice starts. Get coaching prompts that meet each athlete where they are that day. Know before the first whistle, not after you have seen it on the field. WHAT R1 IS - A daily youth sports readiness check-in built for growing athletes. - Personalized development support for Mind, Body, and Energy. - A parent app showing the complete picture of your child athlete. - A coach tool showing individual readiness before every session. - Support that shows up as your child develops, not after something breaks. WHAT R1 IS NOT - Not a fitness tracker or workout app. - Not a test, score, or ranking system. - Not a medical or diagnostic tool. R1 does not diagnose, treat, or make any decision with legal or medical effect. BUILT BY PERFORMANCE EXPERTS R1 was created by practitioners with decades of experience across strength and conditioning, sports psychology, and nutrition and sleep science. The platform operates under ongoing clinical oversight from a board-certified pediatric sports medicine physician. PRIVACY FOR YOUR CHILD AND FAMILY Privacy is built in from day one.
