Full description
Meet Poco, your own private AI assistant. PocketCoder gives you an AI assistant that runs on a server that's truly yours, not a company's cloud. It's built to be easy — no technical background needed. Open the app, answer a few simple questions, and Poco sets everything up for you, right from your phone. WHY POCKETCODER Most AI assistants live on someone else's servers, quietly holding onto your conversations, your data, and your history. PocketCoder flips that: you own the machine, you own the data, and Poco just lives there and works for you. Small yet sovereign. EASY TO SET UP • Tell Poco you want a private server, and he takes care of the rest — getting you set up with a hosting provider and getting PocketCoder running, all in a few guided taps. • Nothing to install, nothing to configure, nothing to type into a terminal. Poco explains what's happening in plain language along the way, so you always know what you're running. • Once it's live, it's yours: a private server with your own address, ready whenever you need it. WHAT POCO CAN DO • He's a genuinely capable everyday assistant — talk through a problem, draft or edit something, look into a question, make a plan. • He's also a real coder. Ask him to build, fix, or ship something, and he'll write and test real software for you. • Message him from anywhere. He'll notify you the moment he needs your input or finishes a task — even when the app is closed. WHO IT'S FOR Whether you write code every day or you're just curious and a little technical, PocketCoder is built to be approachable. You don't need to know what a server is to use one. BUILT ON YOUR TERMS • Bring your own AI model, or use the one Poco recommends. • If you're a coder, bring your favorite coding agent too — Claude Code, Codex, Goose, or OpenCode. • Everything Poco does happens in a safely contained space, kept separate from the rest of your server, so an AI mistake stays small. OPEN SOURCE PocketCoder is open source. Self-host it entirely for free if you're comfortable doing it yourself, or let PocketCoder Pro set it up and manage it for you — straight from your phone. Small yet sovereign.
