5 · Peace Practice

5 · Peace Practice is a simple five-minute practice for more peaceful thinking and action. The foundation practice has five steps, one minute each: 1. Stop. 2. See a living being. 3. Wish someone well. 4. Reduce harm. 5. Make a choice. Each minute gives you a short prompt and space to work with it yourself. There are no streaks, scores, leaderboards, ads or pressure to perform. This is not therapy and not a religious practice. It is a secular educational tool for practicing attention, perspective-taking and less harmful responses in everyday situations. You can use 5 without creating an account. The app includes English and Russian interfaces and light and dark themes. Optional features include an AI Guide for short questions about the practice and a feedback form where you can send text or a voice message. The current Android release does not use Google Analytics. The five-minute practice itself stays deliberately quiet. The AI Guide and feedback tools are available before or after the practice, not during it. The current five-step practice is the foundation. Peaceful World plans to add more focused five-minute practices over time, including loving-kindness, compassion, working with anger, non-hostility, forgiveness and repairing harm. 5 is created by Peaceful World, a nonprofit initiative developing practical peace education. Peace is not only something to believe in. It can also be practiced.
