Full description
Lunarah is a mikvah calendar, niddah calendar and Jewish period tracker that keeps the whole cycle in one place: the flow, the hefsek taharah, the shivah neki'im and the leil tevilah - counted by the halacha, on your own zmanim, in your own language. Built for Jewish women keeping taharas hamishpacha (taharat hamishpacha, niddah), it brings your mikvah (mikveh) calendar and cycle tracking together. You record what happened; the calendar works out the rest and tells you in time. THE COUNT, WORKED OUT FOR YOU - Minimum days before the hefsek taharah - five (Ashkenazi) or four (Sefardi), as your rav holds - The earliest hefsek, with a reminder half an hour before shkiah - The shivah neki'im drawn on the calendar, day 1 to day 7 - Expected bedikos on each of the seven: twice daily, once daily, or first and seventh only - Mikvah night, with a reminder the evening before and on the day itself - Yoledes minimums of 7 and 14 days after a birth, boy or girl - A hefsek can be recorded after the fact, and the whole count corrects itself VESTOS AND ANTICIPATED DAYS - Onah beinonis (30), veses haflagah and veses hachodesh - Or Zarua and Chavas Daas (31) as separate chumros you can switch on - Veses kavua found automatically after three repetitions, plus kavuos you set by hand - Haflagah counted by days or by onos, and veses hadilug - Nights of separation (perishah), with their own reminders PERIOD TRACKER AND CYCLE - Every day split into its two onos, day and night, on real sunrise and sunset where you are - Hebrew date and civil date side by side, with the parashah, yom tov, minor festivals and Nitel - Estimated ovulation, worked out from your own cycle lengths - Pregnancy, nursing and contraception - the pill, the ring, hormonal and copper IUD - with pack and nightly reminders - Establishing a kavua suspended while expecting, nursing or on the pill - Bein hashmashos and alos-to-sunrise flagged where the day is in doubt - Travelling: set the place on each entry, so the zmanim follow you REMINDERS AT THE RIGHT MOMENT - The hefsek, the bedikos morning and afternoon, the mikvah eve and the mikvah day - Anticipated vestos, the day before and the onah itself - Every kind switched on or off on its own, at the hour you choose THE RECORD, AND YOUR RAV - A full diary of every cycle, with the haflagah from the one before - Ask a rav: share a read-only summary by link or email - Export to Excel, or back the record up to a file and restore it - Undo the last entry, and correct any entry afterwards - A guide page explaining every icon on the calendar and what triggers it - Your rav can set the shitos and lock them, so the settings stay as he holds PRIVACY FIRST - Works with no account at all: everything stays on your own device - A PIN lock on the app, with fingerprint or face unlock - No ads, no trackers, nothing sold or shared, ever - An account only if you want the record backed up and synced across devices - Export your record whenever you like, or delete it entirely AND ALSO - Find a mikvah, and a mikvah-night checklist you can edit - Works offline and installs to your home screen like an app - Five languages: English, French, Yiddish, Hebrew and Lashon Hakodesh - Free forever, l'zikuy harabim - no subscription, no paywall, nothing held back WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT Lunarah calculates and records. It does not pasken. Every real shailah - a kesem in doubt, a veses kavua, a reiyah during bein hashmashos, anything touching pregnancy, nursing or illness - belongs with your rav, and where a calculation and your rav differ, your rav is right. The shitos it follows are the ones you or your rav choose in Settings; we take no position on which is correct. Lunarah: a mikvah calendar, niddah calendar and Hebrew luach for taharas hamishpacha, with hefsek taharah, shivah neki'im, bedikos, vestos and zmanim - and a Jewish period tracker in the same app.
