LDAH

Leadership in Disabilities and Achievement of Hawaiʻi (LDAH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1968 by parents of children with learning disabilities. Today LDAH supports families of children with all disabilities across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Islands. Since 1990, under a contract with the United States Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), LDAH has served as the Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) for the State of Hawaiʻi. As the PTI, LDAH provides training and information on special education, IEPs, 504 plans, and the rights of students with disabilities. Our work covers Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi Island, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi, and reaches across the Pacific Basin through partnerships in American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.
