Full description
DISCLAIMER: PollsConnect does not represent a government entity. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any government, any election commission, or any other public authority. It provides no government information of any kind. PollsConnect is a private, invitation-only app that one membership organization uses to elect its own internal office-holders. It is not a public service, it is not open to the general public, and nothing in it has any legal or official standing. Who can use it You can only sign in if the organization running the election has already entered your mobile number on its own membership register. There is no open sign-up, no public content, and nothing to see without an account the organization has created for you. If you are not one of its members, this app has nothing in it for you. What it does • A member signs in with their registered mobile number and casts one secret ballot for the office-holders of their own organization. • The ballot is anonymous. Two separate records are written — one counts the vote and names nobody, one records that the member voted and names no candidate — and nothing joins them. • The organization's own admins open and close the voting, approve the candidates, and publish the internal result to the members. • Members can see the results of the organization's past internal elections, and their own vote receipts. • Available in English and Urdu. What it is not • It is not a voters' list. The register inside the app is the organization's own list of its own members, maintained by its own officers. • It is not a public election. The votes cast here choose the organization's own office-holders and have no effect outside it. • It is not an official result. Every result in the app is internal to the organization. • It is not a government service. You cannot register as a voter, look up a voter record, find a polling station, or see the result of any public election in this app. • It publishes no government information of any kind — no voter records, no official electoral rolls, no official constituencies, no polling stations, and no public election results. Words such as "district", "constituency", "ballot" and "polling" appear in the app because they describe how this private organization arranges its own membership and its own internal vote. They do not refer to any official electoral unit, and no official or government data is shown anywhere in the app. Privacy No advertising, no analytics, no tracking. The app never asks for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. Your ballot cannot be traced back to you. You can delete your login from inside the app at any time. For anything to do with a public election — registering as a voter, checking a voter record, or an official result — please contact the relevant election authority directly. This app is not a source for that information and does not claim to be.

What's new

What's new in 1.1.5 • Membership date: each member's date of joining is now shown in the member list and member details. • Longest-serving members are listed first in each district. • Printed candidate lists now show the membership date and leave out suspended members. • Suspended members no longer appear on the ballot. • Bug fixes and improvements.
