SamitiBook

SamitiBook makes it simple for committees and community groups to manage donations, expenses and event finances — without notebooks, paper receipts or complicated accounting software. Create your committee, invite members, create events and keep every contribution and expense organized in one place. Collect donations Record donations in seconds with the donor's name, amount, payment method and purpose. The member recording the donation is automatically captured from their login, so there is no need to select the collector manually. Digital receipts Generate an official PDF receipt for every donation and share it using your phone's native share option. Send it through WhatsApp, email, Telegram or any other app that supports PDF sharing. Manage expenses Record event expenses with the amount, category, vendor and payment method. Add a bill or supporting document so your committee can keep the expense record organized. Track money with your collectors When multiple members collect donations, SamitiBook helps you know how much money is still with each collector. For example: Donations collected: ₹3,000 Expenses paid: ₹200 Money handed to Treasurer: ₹500 Pending with Collector: ₹2,300 Record partial settlements and continue settling the remaining amount later. Simple settlements Collectors can hand over money to the Treasurer in full or in parts. The Treasurer confirms the amount received, creating a clear record of every handover. Know where the money is See your event's: • Total collected • Total spent • Current balance • Money pending with collectors • Money settled with the Treasurer This makes reconciliation much easier for the Treasurer and committee. Committee-based access A person can belong to multiple committees and switch between them. Each committee can manage multiple events. Roles include: • Admin — Manage the committee, members, events and corrections • Treasurer — Manage financial records, settlements and reports • Collector — Record donations and manage assigned collection activity • Viewer — Read-only access Built for real community events SamitiBook can be used for: • Festival committees • Temple and religious organizations • Community groups • Housing societies • NGOs • Clubs • School groups • Local events and fundraisers • Community welfare activities Keep every rupee accountable Donations, expenses and settlements remain part of the financial history. Important corrections can be tracked so records are not silently changed or deleted. SamitiBook Communities. Contributions. Clear Accounts. Manage your committee. Track every contribution.
