EcoTrkr Collector

EcoTrkr Collector helps EarthViews Conservation Society participants collect nearshore temperature surveys using a compatible Blue Maestro Bluetooth logger and their Android phone. Start a survey, record your phone’s GPS track, then retrieve the logger’s stored temperature readings when the survey ends. The collector aligns readings with the track, saves the survey locally, and retries queued uploads when a network connection is available. Pause and resume a survey, recover logger data, or end a survey without the sensor while retaining the phone’s GPS track. A compatible logger is required to collect real temperature readings. Bluetooth and location permissions are used for real surveys. Explore the clearly labeled demo without a tracker, account, or location permission. Connect to a simulated sensor, record sample readings, pause and resume, and retrieve a sample survey. Demo data is never uploaded. Setup creates a participant profile with an optional display name, or accepts existing participant upload credentials. Uploaded real surveys are publicly shared for conservation research, including precise locations, timestamps, participant identifiers, sensor identifiers, and your display name if provided.
