RailSpeed - Train GPS Speed

How fast is your train moving? Find out with RailSpeed - Train GPS Speed. RailSpeed uses your phone’s GPS to show your current speed and location on a map. Its simple speedometer and clear ride details make it easy to follow your journey. LIVE TRAIN SPEED Check your speed with an analog speedometer and a digital reading. Choose kilometres per hour (km/h) or miles per hour (mph). FOLLOW YOUR LOCATION See your live GPS location on an OpenStreetMap map. Move around the map to explore nearby places, or tap Follow to return to your position. RECORD YOUR JOURNEY Tap Start trip to begin recording. Pause when you need a break, then tap Resume to continue. Tap End & Save to keep your ride details. CHECK YOUR RIDE DETAILS See useful information about each journey: • Distance travelled • Journey duration • Average speed • Maximum speed • Start and end times • Start and end latitude and longitude Latitude and longitude are numbers that show a place’s position on Earth. SAVE YOUR RIDE HISTORY Keep your latest 20 completed rides on your phone. Scroll through clear ride cards with trip details and a saved map image. Open View route to explore the recorded journey on a larger map. SET A SPEED ALERT Choose a speed in Settings and turn on the alert. When a reliable GPS reading reaches or passes your chosen speed, a message appears at the top. The message closes after three seconds. The app then waits 30 seconds before showing another alert. MAKE IT YOUR OWN • Choose a light or dark theme. • Switch between km/h and mph. • Set the maximum speed shown on the analog meter. • Share saved ride details using your phone’s share menu. SIMPLE AND PRIVATE No account is needed. Ride history, map images and settings stay on your device. You can clear your saved history from the History page. GET STARTED 1. Allow location access. 2. Turn on your phone’s location service. 3. Open the app to see your live position and speed. 4. Tap Start trip to record a ride. 5. Tap End & Save when you finish. PLEASE NOTE Speed and distance are GPS estimates. Tunnels, weak signals and poor GPS reception may cause missing or less accurate readings. Precise location access is needed for speed measurement and trip recording. Recording pauses when you leave the app or lock your screen. Return to RailSpeed and tap Resume to continue.
