Full description
When you work from home, the commute that used to end your day is gone. The laptop closes, but your head keeps running — and by 10pm you are checking messages again. ClockOut gives you that boundary back. One short ritual, once a day, at the time your work actually ends. THE THREE-MINUTE RITUAL 1. Park a thought Name one thing you no longer need to carry today and leave it in the app. Unfinished tasks can wait until tomorrow. 2. Breathe A calm 4s inhale / 4s exhale pacer with four animations to choose from, optional ambient sound and gentle haptics. 3. Switch the day off Tap to turn off the desk lamp on screen. A small symbolic gesture that tells your brain work is over. 4. Log how you feel One tap to capture the mood you are leaving the day with. Then the evening is yours. NEW: THE WAY HOME AND THE NIGHT SKY Every day you close takes you a step further on the way home from work. Ten stages — from Laptop Closed, over the Bridge and through the Garden Gate, to Home — show your evenings becoming yours again, one day at a time. In the night sky, every closed day lights a star in the colour of the mood you closed it with. When a week is in rhythm, its stars join up into a constellation. Every week of the year has its own, from the Cup of Tea in January to the Little Fir Tree in December, and each one comes back every year. The atlas shows which you have lit, and in which years. It is a quiet collection, not a leaderboard: nothing is ever lost, a missed day turns nothing off, and one weaker week does not break your rhythm. WHAT'S INSIDE • Daily reminder at the end of your workday — quick presets or your own time • Weekdays only, or all seven days — your choice • The Way Home with a weekly rhythm, and a night sky of 53 constellations • A history of your moods and answers to look back on whenever you like • Four ambient styles: Tibetan singing bowl, gentle rain, ocean waves, or silence with haptics only • Your own sounds — import MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A or FLAC files and loop them while you breathe • Flexible schedule — allow the ritual at any hour, not just the 16:00–21:00 window • Full English and Czech, switchable inside the app • Material 3 design with a calm dark theme, and a screen that stays awake for the whole ritual PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your notes, moods, history and sky stay in a local database on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no cloud sync, no ads. Nothing you write is ever uploaded anywhere. You can clear your history with a single tap in Settings; the path and the sky keep only the dates of the days you closed. Anonymous diagnostics that help fix bugs are optional and stay off unless you allow them. WHO IT IS FOR Remote and hybrid workers, freelancers, and anyone whose desk sits in the same room as their sofa. Anyone who wants a clear end to the day instead of one that quietly fades into the night. ClockOut is not a time tracker and it will not count your hours or measure your productivity. It does one thing: it draws the line at the end of the workday, so you can start the next one rested.

What's new

New: The Way Home and The Night Sky • Every day you close takes you a step further on the way home from work. Ten stages, from Laptop Closed to Home. • A weekly rhythm: close every weekday but one, and Saturday or Sunday counts as a bonus. • The Night Sky: a star for every evening in the colour of your mood; a week in rhythm lights one of 53 constellations. • Nothing is ever lost: your progress stays even when you clear the history.
