Umits

A no-nonsense unit converter. A text box which expects input in the form "x [unit1] in [units]". Like this "100m in ft" or like this "400km in 100km/h" (4h) or like this "​5 kg * (10 m / 2 s^2) in N". You can also calculate download times: "10 GiB / (100 Mb / s) in min, s". It works with the SI base units and many derived units. Is supports all SI predixes, meaning you can use weird units like kilofeet (kft) and nanolightyear (nly). No boxes. No unit selection of units. Just you, your keyboard and a text input box. As an example of what Umits can do as a units-aware calculator we calculate how long you would have to stand 4 meters away from 1kg of cobalt60 before you have a 50% risk of dying within 30 days. It uses Sievert, Becquerel, square meters and the inverse square law. 5 Sv * (4 m)^2 / (0.351 mSv * m2 / (GBq * h) * 4.19e7 GBq) in s -> 19.58264 s So kids, don't play with cobalt60. And use Umits.
