The Breathing App (TBA) original is inspired by Resonance Frequency—the scientific term that describes what happens when our heart rate, heart rate variability, blood pressure, and brainwave function align in a coherent wave. This occurs spontaneously when we breathe at a pace of five to seven breaths per minute, resulting in calm, restful alertness and other benefits. About Resonance Frequency The effects of resonance support the innate ability of our body, nervous system, and emotions to restore themselves. This is achieved by balancing the two complementary branches of the autonomic nervous system, which governs heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, respiration, and other automatic functions.
