ABVYM Unit Guide

The ABVYM Unit Guide answers the questions that arise in the daily work of a Mahamandal unit. It is arranged by question rather than by chapter, because that is how the work presents itself. How should the first meeting be conducted? What should we read first? How many office bearers are needed? How is a budget prepared? What must a periodical report contain? Every answer gives a short reply, an explanation, the procedure step by step, a checklist, the mistakes commonly made, and the regulations that bear upon it. FOR EVERY STAGE OF A UNIT Whether you are gathering a few friends to read together, running an established Pathachakra, working towards affiliation, or administering a Branch Centre, the guide follows the stage you have reached: - Pathachakra - Non-affiliated Unit - Affiliated Unit - Branch Centre The same subjects are covered at every stage. Only the depth changes. WHAT IT COVERS - Starting a study circle, and holding it together - Conducting meetings, and writing the minutes - Forming the Executive Committee, and the duties of each office - Keeping accounts, vouchers and registers - Preparing budgets, periodical reports and the annual report - Organizing camps, programmes and service work - Admitting members, and conducting elections - The regulations that apply at each stage IN THREE LANGUAGES English, Hindi and Bengali, chosen from within the application at any time. IT WORKS WITHOUT A CONNECTION The whole guide is carried inside the application. There is no sign-in, no account and no advertising. Nothing you do in the application is collected or sent anywhere. A connection is needed only when the guide itself is revised, and when you choose to send an e-mail from your own mail application. WHEN THE GUIDE DOES NOT ANSWER Any question may be sent to the Head Office, with an attachment if one is needed, and a person will reply. Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal Be and Make
