FreePrompter turns your phone into a professional teleprompter and camera — completely free, with no word or character limit on your scripts. SCRIPT WITHOUT LIMITS Write or paste scripts of any length — no character or word cap, ever. Import and fully edit .srt subtitle files with precise cue timing. Convert plain text scripts into timed SRT cues automatically. RECORD LIKE A PRO Record in HD, FHD or 4K (based on what your device supports), using the front or rear camera. Shoot in portrait or landscape, and rotate mid-recording. Pinch to zoom and adjust exposure on the fly. Pause and resume recording and scrolling together, in sync. SMART TELEPROMPTER CONTROLS Manual scroll or automatic word-per-minute pacing (80–220 WPM). Current-word highlighting keeps your place as you read. Adjustable font size, text/background colors, and prompt pane height. Mirror mode for use with professional teleprompter rigs. Countdown timer before recording starts. Control playback with a Bluetooth remote, clicker, or wireless keyboard. MANAGE YOUR RECORDINGS Every take is saved in-app for easy review, playback, sharing, or deletion. Export scripts as .srt files to add captions on YouTube, social media, and more. 100% FREE. 100% PRIVATE. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. No internet permission — everything runs fully offline, so your scripts and videos never leave your device. Perfect for vloggers, speakers, presenters, self-tape auditions, sermons, and anyone who wants to speak confidently on camera.
