System F Pilot Logbook

System F Pilot Logbook is a digital pilot logbook and GPS flight tracker for aviators. It records every flight end-to-end: tap Start before you taxi, the phone tracks your route with background GPS while you fly, and at End Flight the app fills in your logbook entry for you — aircraft flown, hours logged, day / night breakdown, landings, and airports visited. Review the inferred values, confirm, and the flight is in your permanent aviation logbook. Backed by pilotlogbook.online, an aviation logbook designed around real-world regulatory compliance (CASR Part 61 in Australia, RAAus rules for recreational aviation, and FAA Part 61 for US pilots). Currency deadlines, flight-review tracking, instructor recency and instrument-proficiency checks are all computed for you. What the mobile app does: • Live GPS flight recording — a foreground service records your position at 1 Hz for the entire flight. Runs in the background so you can put the phone in a pocket, switch apps, or lock the screen. Battery-friendly; a two-hour VFR flight costs about 5% of a Pixel's charge. • On-device flight-phase detection — the recorder tags every moment as parked, taxiing, taking off, airborne, or landing. Idle head-and-tail is trimmed automatically before upload so your recorded flight time reflects the actual chock-to-chock. • Automatic flight-form pre-fill — the server analyses your GPS track and estimates which of your aircraft you flew (from ground-speed profile), how many hours to log, which airports you visited (proximity to elevation), whether the flight was day, night, or both (solar position), and how many landings (touch-and-go vs full-stop vs go-around). • Photos and videos from the flight window — after End Flight, the app scans your gallery for media captured during the recording session and offers to attach any of it. Nothing from the rest of your gallery is ever read. • The complete logbook — flights, aircraft, engines, airports, waypoints, aviator profiles, endorsements, medical documents, currency deadlines, and a CASR-compliant PDF export for regulatory presentation. • Nine colour themes — including a high-contrast accessibility theme and a true-black midnight theme for OLED night use. • Automatic aviator-profile matching — when someone logs a flight with you, the system fuzzy-matches on your name, registered identifiers, and date of birth so that history rolls in when you claim your profile.
