OstrovUA

OstrovUA is the Ukrainian community app for staying in touch, finding opportunities and helping each other across borders. CHAT SECURELY Personal chats are end-to-end encrypted: only the people in the conversation can read the messages. Send text, photos, videos, voice messages, files and your location. Talk in groups, channels and the community chats of your country. CALL One-to-one audio and video calls, group calls and screen sharing. FIND OPPORTUNITIES Browse job and housing listings. Create a professional profile and add your skills and CV. Some actions depend on your account status. JOIN THE COMMUNITY Take part in discussions and initiatives. See your participation history and confirmed contributions. SAFETY Report a message, a person, a group or a channel right in the app. An access code protects the app on your device, and a recovery code helps you restore access to encrypted chats on a new phone. Child Safety Standards: https://ostrovua.net/en/child-safety MANAGE YOUR PROFILE Change your photo, name and handle, and choose the interface language (Ukrainian, Russian, English) and settings. You can delete your account in the app settings. ABOUT VERIFICATION Some features require Verified ID. Passport verification is for users aged 18 and over and requires a compatible document with an NFC chip and a liveness check. Availability may depend on your device and the testing stage. Verified ID is not a government ID and does not guarantee that a user acts in good faith. The app is intended for users aged 14 and over. OstrovUA is an independent community project, not a government service. Support: [email protected] Privacy policy: https://ostrovua.net/en/privacy
