Full description
LearnPiano.online is a free sight-reading trainer that turns your MIDI keyboard into an interactive practice partner. Connect your digital piano, load a score, and play the notes shown on the staff — the app listens in real time and tells you instantly whether you played the right note. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Read sheet music from MusicXML scores with a moving cursor that follows your playing. • Connect a MIDI piano or keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) for real-time note detection. • Practice at your own pace in Free mode, keep tempo in Timed mode, or scroll through pieces in Reading mode. • Choose which hand to practice: right, left, or both. • Use the built-in note randomizer to generate fresh exercises whenever you want. • Record your performance, play it back, and share it with a link. • Listen to a piece first, then try it yourself. PERFECT FOR • Beginners learning to read notes on the treble and bass clef. • Students who want honest, instant feedback while practicing. • Anyone returning to the piano and rebuilding sight-reading skills. HOW IT WORKS Plug in your MIDI instrument, allow MIDI access when prompted, pick a piece from the library or load your own MusicXML file, and start playing. The app highlights the notes you need to play and reacts to every key you press. REQUIREMENTS • A MIDI-capable piano or keyboard (connected via USB or Bluetooth) for interactive practice. • The app needs permission to access MIDI devices to work correctly. No account required. No ads. Just open the app and play.
