Black Box

Black Box helps you control which apps can reach the network on your Android device. Using Android’s local VPN system, Black Box applies network protection rules directly on your phone. Black Box does not operate a remote VPN server for user traffic and does not send your browsing activity or network traffic to Black Box servers. Key features: • Lockdown Mode Block selected apps from connecting while protection is active. • App-level network controls Choose which apps should be protected. • Protection Activity See recent blocked connection attempts in a clear, grouped activity view. • Local VPN protection Network protection runs on your device using Android’s VPN permission. • Google Play subscriptions Premium access is handled through Google Play Billing. Important: Black Box is a privacy and network-protection tool, not a guarantee of perfect protection. Network blocking does not directly control Android permissions such as camera, microphone, location, photos, or contacts. You can review those permissions in Android settings. Black Box is designed to keep protection activity local on your phone. Subscription verification uses Google Play Billing and backend entitlement checks, but Black Box does not collect VPN traffic, browsing history, installed app lists, permission history, or connection logs on its servers.
