iLende: Hiking Map

Hiking maps for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, right in your pocket. iLende is a detailed topographic map of four Nordic countries for hiking, skiing and cycling. The map is free in all four countries, and you need no account. The colors, the trails and the hut symbols are the same on both sides of the border, and marked trails stand out from other paths at every zoom level. The first time you open iLende, a short tour shows you the map of your own country. Measure the way How far is it to the summit, and how steep is it? Draw the route with your finger, tap point by point or let the line follow the trails. You see the distance over the terrain, the climb and the walking time, with an elevation profile for the whole way. If a line goes wrong, Undo takes back the whole stroke in one tap. Find your way Tap the location button once, and the map follows you and turns the way you face. Navigation guides you turn by turn along trails and roads, with the distance left and the climbs ahead. Maps without coverage Download maps before you go and use them where there is no signal. The download keeps going when you leave the app, and a notification shows how far it has come. On your wrist Your phone draws the map for your Wear OS watch and sends the areas you choose. The watch then works on its own, without the phone and without a network.
