Full description
Find a track's tempo without interrupting your workflow. BPM Techno is a free BPM toolkit for DJs, producers, musicians, and anyone working with rhythm. MEASURE LIVE BPM Use the real-time counter when music is already playing through speakers. Allow microphone access, point your device toward a clear and steady section of the track, and let BPM Techno estimate its beats per minute. Your live microphone stream is analyzed on your device. BPM Techno does not upload or store the microphone audio. CHOOSE THE RIGHT TOOL - Detect BPM from music playing nearby. - Tap along manually when you can hear the pulse clearly. - Analyze a direct, browser-accessible MP3 or WAV URL. - Convert BPM into whole, half, quarter, eighth, sixteenth, dotted, and triplet note durations. - Compare half-time and double-time values when a detected number does not match the way you count the track. BUILT FOR REAL DJ TASKS Use BPM Techno while preparing a set, checking an untagged track, practicing a transition, setting a tempo-synced delay, or resolving a common half-time or double-time reading. Practical guides explain how BPM detection works, how to improve accuracy, how to understand genre tempo ranges, and how to apply tempo information while beatmatching. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-READY The live counter, tap-tempo tool, and calculators are designed to remain useful offline after the app has loaded. An internet connection is still required to fetch remote audio URLs and open external resources. No account or subscription is required. ACCURATE, WITH HONEST LIMITS Automatic detection works best with a steady section containing clear kicks, snares, claps, or other rhythmic transients. Silence, speech, ambient intros, heavy syncopation, and distorted microphone input can reduce accuracy. Treat every automatic result as a strong starting point. Confirm the pulse by ear and check the related half-time or double-time value when needed.
