Stitch Tracker: Craft Journal

A journal for anyone who knits, crochets, sews, embroiders or has a dozen other craft hobbies. How many skeins did that sweater take? Which needle did you use? And where did that pattern go? StitchTracker keeps all of it together, in one place, on your own phone. Your projects For every project, record what you are making and who it is for: the yarn with brand, colour and dye lot, your needle size, the gauge, and how much you used. Add photos as you go, so you can look back later and see it grow. Projects move from planned to active to completed, with the dates kept alongside. Your patterns Store patterns as a PDF, as photos or as a link, sorted into categories you set up yourself. Search by name, designer or your own tags. Link as many patterns to a project as you need, and you will always know where each one came from. Your needle stash Knitting needles, circulars, hooks and the rest, sorted by size, with the brand and the number you own. No more standing in the shop wondering whether you already have that 4 mm. Counters Add as many counters to a project as you need: rows, repeats, decreases. They stay with the project they belong to, right where you left them. Your stats See per year how many projects you finished, how many grams and metres of yarn went into it, and how long a project takes you on average. Reading while you work Open a pattern and the screen stays on, so it will not go dark halfway through a row. Zoom in on the fine print with two buttons. And switch on the guides: a yellow band across the row you are on and a blue line to keep you in the right column. Drag them along as you go — the app remembers where you left off, per project, so the same pattern can sit in two projects at once without you losing your place. English or Dutch The app follows your phone's language, and you can set it to English or Dutch yourself from the gear icon on the home screen. Your data stays yours StitchTracker does not ask for internet access. Not "we promise not to send anything", the app simply cannot. No account, no server, no sign-in, no ads, no trackers. Everything stays on your own device. One button makes a backup to a place you choose, such as your downloads folder or your cloud storage. Moving to a new phone? Restoring is just as easy.
