roda.place

Stop almost making plans. Roda is the social calendar for the real world. Tell us when you're free and what you enjoy, and Roda puts together small, real plans with people you're likely to get on with: a long dinner, a walk to the river, slow coffee, a board game afternoon. Four to six people, a real place, a time that already works for you. No feed. No swiping. No "we should do this more often" that never happens. HOW IT WORKS • Answer once. Seven short chapters about how you show up, what matters to you and how you like to spend time with people. About eight minutes, and you only do it once. • Tell us when you're free. Tap the mornings, afternoons and evenings that usually work, and the languages you'd happily share a table in. • Get an invite. When a small group looks promising, Roda picks a time and a place and sends the invite. Say yes, or pass. No pressure either way. • Show up. You get the day, the venue and the meeting point. The rest is dinner. • Tell us how it went. A quick check-in afterwards tells Roda what worked and what didn't, so the next table fits better. • Do it again. When a group gets on well, Roda can bring the same people back together for another plan. GOT AN IDEA? Propose one. Name the plan and when it could happen, and Roda finds the people and sets the table. Raise a hand on other people's ideas for your week, too. SMALL, REAL, CONSIDERED • Small groups, so everyone gets a word in. • Real plans with a day, a place and a start time. • Considered fit, based on your answers, not on a profile photo. KIND BY DESIGN • Roda is for adults 18 and over. • Tablemates see your first name only, and only once you're seated together. • Comfort preferences, like the age range or gender mix you'd prefer, are private and never shown to the group. • Something felt off? Tell us from the app. Crossed lines are taken seriously. WHAT IT COSTS Joining, answering and being matched are free. Booking a table is free during beta; you pay the venue for your own food and drinks. We'll tell you in the app before anything changes. No ads, no data sales, no engagement tricks: Roda only does well when you actually go out. WHERE Starting in Lisbon. Somewhere else? Join your city's waitlist and we'll write when Roda arrives.
