iCarenet is the participant app for research studies run on the iCarenet platform. If you are enrolled in a study, scan the QR code or type the enrollment code from your study team to get started. No account or password is needed. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Complete surveys and cognitive activities on the schedule your study team set up • Work fully offline. Everything syncs when you are back online • Get reminders when an activity opens • Pause an activity and pick it up later • See your own progress and data summaries • Legal guardians can follow the completion status of linked participants PASSIVE MEASUREMENTS, ONLY WITH YOUR CONSENT Some studies include passive measurements such as location, motion, step count, and sleep or heart data from Apple Health. These are collected only after you give informed consent in the app. You can see what is collected, switch each type off at any time, and request deletion of your data. PRIVACY Your data is pseudonymous, linked only to a study ID, encrypted in transit, and stored on the research institution's own infrastructure. Nothing is used for advertising or sold to third parties. This app only works with an enrollment code issued by a research team using iCarenet.
