Full description
DarkStage is a tablet-first setlist manager and song-notes presenter built specifically for musicians who actually play out. This means we're often on stages where the lighting is bad, our hands are full, and we don't have time to struggle with reading or handling a paper setlist or a phone between songs. I built DarkStage because I needed it myself. Reading paper setlists on a dark stage is a real problem, and most setlist apps aren't designed with this issue in mind. DarkStage is. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT * Full-screen, high-contrast display designed to be readable at a glance in low light * Seven built-in themes, including two with fully-customizable colors * One-handed, intuitive gestures: swipe to change songs, pinch to resize text, drag the right edge of the screen to adjust brightness * Set break timers that count up and down if you've set a break length * The Performance screen puts your notes front and center so they're there when you need them BUILT FOR HOW REAL SHOWS ACTUALLY WORK * Unlimited songs, shows, and setlists * Duplicate a show for easy setlist re-use * Create a show from an imported Calendar event * Markdown-formatted notes with a built-in chord/key picker so entering song chords is fast and easy * Tap the venue address for instant directions * Demo mode so you can preview how your songs will be presented during a performance DARKSTAGE PRO ($4.99, one-time purchase) A single optional unlock adds: * Venue lookup with address autofill * Unlimited performances * Automatic and on-demand backup to your own Google Drive, for those "I'm three hours from home at a venue and I forgot my tablet" moments; just restore the last backup to your phone or another tablet * Your Google Drive backup is your data, in your account, not shared anywhere else No ads, no subscriptions, and no nag screens. DarkStage Pro is a one-time purchase because that's how I'd want to buy it myself. Whether you're playing covers at a bar on a Friday night or running your own set at a bigger show, DarkStage is built to stay out of your way, have the info you need right at hand, and just work.
