Full description
homeVPN turns a spare Android phone into your own VPN server. Traffic between your two phones is encrypted with VLESS+Reality and leaves through your home line, so wherever you are, websites see the same IP address as when you are at home. GETTING STARTED 1. Install homeVPN on a spare phone, plug it in and leave it on your home Wi-Fi. This is your home phone. 2. Install homeVPN on the phone you carry and scan the code shown on the home phone. 3. Tap the round button, and you are back on your home internet. Both phones need Android 9 or later. No server to rent, no router to configure. WHY A PHONE AT HOME Commercial VPNs and rented servers both exit from a data-centre IP address. Streaming services, banks and ticketing sites may treat those addresses as suspicious and block them. homeVPN exits from your home line, so you look the way you look at home. CARRIED OVER VLESS+Reality - Your two phones connect with VLESS+Reality, which looks much like ordinary encrypted web traffic. - The keys are made when you link the two phones and work only for those two. Other VLESS apps cannot connect. - No config files, no server addresses to type in. FEATURES - See how long you have been connected, and the IP address and country the internet sees. - Works with Android's always-on VPN, so the phone you carry reconnects by itself. - Check the home phone's battery, charging and network from the phone you carry. - After a power cut, the home phone comes back by itself, before anyone unlocks it. - 31 languages, light and dark themes. FOR YOUR OWN PHONES ONLY We run no VPN servers and carry none of your traffic. A small signalling service only helps your two phones find each other, and steps aside once they connect. Only phones you linked yourself can use your home line. There is no way to let strangers use it, and it never carries anyone else's traffic. PRIVACY - No connection logs. The contents of your traffic never reach us. - The signalling service holds only public keys and timestamps. Like any network service it can see where a connection comes from, but it does not record it. - No ads. Card details go to our payment processor; we never hold them. PRICING - Free for the first 7 days (once per household; you register an email address and a payment method to start). - Then a subscription of 1, 6 or 12 months. Prices are shown in the app. - One subscription covers up to 5 phones you carry. GOOD TO KNOW - The home phone needs power and internet. Your speed is limited by the upload speed of your home line. - Some mobile networks make a direct connection impossible. When that happens, the app tells you why. - Keep the home phone out of sight, and use one that still has the system it came with. If it is taken, nothing after that is protected — though what you already sent and received cannot be read afterwards. homeVPN asks for VPN permission on the phone you carry, and runs a foreground service on the home phone so that it stays reachable. Both are explained in the app before you start.
