Full description
Delphin Grenzos — build named-stop routes by hand, watch arrival times cascade live under your finger. ONE-LINE PITCH A no-map, offline route planner where you draw a vertical schematic "rail" of named stops, and every drag instantly recalculates arrival times, daylight windows, and transit-departure conflicts down the whole route. WHO IT'S FOR Hikers, cyclists, road-trippers, and multi-modal travellers who plan mixed walk/bike/car/bus/train itineraries through places too small or too obscure for a turn-by-turn map — trailheads, villages, mountain passes, coastal footpaths — and want to know, at a glance, whether they'll actually make it to the next stop before dark or before their bus leaves. WHAT IT DOES - Route Rail: a vertical, schematic spine of named stops. Segment length reflects travel TIME, not distance — closer to a subway diagram than a map. - Trailcast Engine: drag a stop to reorder it, or stretch a segment to change its duration, and every stop below it recalculates its arrival time live, with a tentative preview right under your finger before you let go. - Hard clamps and soft warnings: a stop with a fixed bus/train departure creates a real ceiling — stretch a segment past it and the drag physically stops, with a "you'll miss HH:MM" label. Arriving after sunset is only a soft, rubber-banded warning, never a block. - Five travel modes per leg (walk, bike, car, bus, train), each with its own line style and pace, editable per-route in one tap. - Manual coordinates OR a curated city library: attach a real city for weather and daylight math, or drop exact latitude/longitude for a trailhead that isn't in any directory — and save frequently-used spots as reusable "My Places". Every waypoint remains fully functional with no location at all. - Optional weather layer: current conditions and an hourly strip at your estimated arrival time, fetched from Open-Meteo (no account, no API key) and cached for offline viewing, with a clear "cached" vs "fresh" indicator. Rail timing, clamps, and sunset warnings all work with zero network connection. - A lightweight, per-route gear checklist with five ready-made packing templates (walking day trip, bikepacking, road trip, rail/bus journey, multi-day trek). - A landmark photo can be attached to any stop, purely for your own reference — never required, never shown on the schematic rail itself. PRIVACY Everything lives on your device. No account, no sign-in, no backend, no ads, no tracking. The only network call the app ever makes is an anonymous, keyless weather lookup for the coordinates of a stop you've chosen to attach — and the entire route-planning core keeps working with no connection at all.
