i12 — I want to…

i12 is for the small, ordinary decision that nobody wants to be the one to raise. Coffee. Lunch. A cigarette. A drink after work. Somebody has to ask first, and asking makes you the person who asked — so most of the time nobody does, and everybody stays at their desk. i12 replaces the asking with a button. HOW IT WORKS Make a group and give it a label — Coffee, Lunch, 퇴근 후 한잔 — whatever your group actually calls it. Set a target: how many people it takes before going is worth it. When you want to go, tap the button. That is the whole interaction. Your tap adds one to the count. The screen shows how many are in, how many are needed, and how much of the gap is left. When the target is reached, everyone gets one notification: everyone's in — go. If the target is not reached, the round expires on its own. Nobody has to remember to reset anything. Each person chooses how much they hear: every tap, just the start and the go, only the go, or nothing at all. WHY THERE IS NO CHAT Because a chat is where this fails. "Anyone for coffee?" sits there unanswered, and now you are the person whose message nobody replied to. Three people say maybe. Someone proposes a different time. Twenty minutes later everyone is still sitting down. i12 has no messages, no threads, no read receipts, no typing indicators. There is a count and a target. It either gets there or it does not. WHAT ELSE IS IN IT - Set yourself to Away and the target drops by one, so you are not the reason the group is stuck. You still get the notification if they go — you might want to come back for it. - Mute one person quietly. They are never told, and nothing else about them changes. - Invite with a six-character code or a link. No phone number needed. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO i12 never reads your contacts. There is no address-book matching, no friend suggestions, no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no crash reporting. What is stored is your display name, your email address, the groups you belong to, and your taps. Sharing an invite goes through your phone's own share sheet, so we never learn who you sent it to. LANGUAGE Korean and English. Switch any time in Settings → Language, and your notifications follow. Group names and labels stay exactly as they were typed.
