PulseBeat Metronome

PulseBeat is a metronome for people who actually practise. It keeps a steady click, lets you shape the bar exactly as the music needs, and quietly records how long you played. A CLICK THAT STAYS PUT Every beat is scheduled from the moment you pressed Start, so the grid does not drift over a long session: beat number two hundred lands exactly where it should. Tempo runs from 20 to 300 BPM, with the Italian name shown beside the number, big plus and minus buttons that repeat when held, and quick jumps to the common tempos. SHAPE THE BAR Time signatures from 2/4 to 12/8, or any number of beats from one to sixteen for odd meters. Tap a beat to make it an accent, a normal beat, or silent — useful for counting a bar in three with a rest on two. Subdivisions play quarters, eighths, triplets or sixteenths under the beat, always quieter than the beat itself. Four built-in sounds: a dry click, a wooden block, a clean beep and a cowbell, each with a separate accent sample. Tap Tempo works from your taps on the screen and averages the last few, starting again after a pause. SPEED TRAINER Set a start tempo, a target and a step, and PulseBeat raises the tempo every few bars until it reaches the target, with a progress bar and a clear "Target reached!". This is how a passage gets from careful to performance speed without you touching the phone. PRESETS AND PRACTICE LOG Save the whole setup — tempo, meter, accents, subdivision, sound — under the name of the piece, and load it in one tap. Any session longer than a minute is written to the practice log automatically, with the tempo range it covered. The Practice screen shows minutes this week, your streak of practice days, a bar per day, and room for a note on each session. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No microphone, ever.
