Bir Nefes

Remember what you truly intended to do each time you pick up your phone. Bir Nefes gives you a brief, meaningful pause before opening distracting apps. Before entering an app you selected, you’ll see a Quran verse, hadith, one of the Names of Allah, a reflection, or a short question. This helps interrupt automatic phone use so you can make a more conscious choice. With Bir Nefes, you can: • Choose the apps that distract you • Take a short mindfulness break before an app opens • Explore Quran verses, hadiths, the Names of Allah, and reflections • Reinforce what you learn with short questions • Choose the content categories you want to see • Use your phone more consciously instead of blocking it completely While studying, focusing on work, or going about your day… Bir Nefes is designed not to keep you away from your phone entirely, but to help you use it with greater control. Sometimes, a pause of just a few seconds is all it takes to make the right choice. How does it work? Choose the apps that distract you. Enable the Bir Nefes accessibility service. When you open one of your selected apps, a short content screen will appear. After completing the content, make your choice and continue to the app. Privacy and accessibility permission Bir Nefes uses the accessibility service solely to detect when an app selected by the user is opened and to display the Bir Nefes screen. It does not read your screen content, messages, passwords, or keyboard input. App information detected through this service is not used for advertising or analytics and is not shared with third parties. Sometimes, one mindful breath is all it takes to regain your focus.
