BuddyTracker

BuddyTracker is a powerful, hybrid location-tracking platform designed to keep your private groups, family, and pets connected, both online and off the grid. Designed with harsh environments and remote expeditions in mind, BuddyTracker bridges the gap between standard cellular GPS tracking and localized mesh networks. By integrating directly with Meshtastic hardware, BuddyTracker ensures that your team's (and your dog's) location data keeps flowing even when you venture far beyond the reach of cell towers. Why choose BuddyTracker? • No Cell Service? No Problem: Pair your phone with a Meshtastic device via Bluetooth to broadcast and receive location updates over a private LoRa mesh network. Perfect for tracking hunting dogs in deep woods. • Advanced Offline Map Layers: Switch between Satellite, specialized Topographical maps, Nautical charts, and overlaid Trails and more to match your adventure. Download areas for offline use. • Private Groups & Easy Invites: Keep your data secure. Create a group for your weekend trip and invite friends with a simple login. • Trail History & Breadcrumbs: See where your group has been with visual trace lines that make it easy to follow someone's exact path, trace your dog's route, or find your way back. • Detailed Device Telemetry: Tap on a friend or pet to see their exact coordinates, altitude, movement speed, and device battery life. • Rename & Color Match: Easily organize your view by renaming devices (like "Rover" or "Alice") and assigning them custom colors for quick recognition. Download BuddyTracker today and explore the outdoors with the peace of mind that your whole pack is connected.
