It allows you to import photos, files, albums, record using camera or microphone, or create your own custom records. Files are imported as links, but you can decide to make a private copy, or move from public to private storage or vis-a-versa provided you give it permissions. Most importantly files stored in private storage on your device can be encrypted for additional protection, in case your device is hacked or stolen.
