Full description
Every phone forces a trade: the wide lens frames the whole scene but goes soft in the center; the telephoto lens is sharp but can't hold the frame. DualCapture stops the trade. It fires two or three of your rear lenses in the same moment — wide plus telephoto — then stitches them into one photo, dropping the crisp telephoto center into the wide frame. The extra detail is real light captured by a real lens. It is optical fusion, not AI upscaling — no invented pixels. HOW THE FUSION WORKS 1. You frame the shot on the wide lens as usual. 2. DualCapture triggers the wide and telephoto captures together (or in a fast burst if your device needs it). 3. It aligns the sharp telephoto crop to the matching region of the wide frame and blends the seam. 4. You get one photo: wide framing, telephoto-grade center detail. On many Samsung phones the telephoto lens is normally hidden from third-party apps. DualCapture reaches it where the device API allows, so you finally get that glass working outside the stock camera. MODES & OUTPUTS - Wide, Max-detail, and Night modes - Saves the stitched result plus the original frames - Optional bokeh, and RAW (DNG) for editing - Horizon level and tap-to-focus HONEST LIMITS (please read before buying) - Physics: because the lenses sit a few millimetres apart (parallax), clean results need flat or distant subjects — roughly 2–3 m or more. It shines on documents, artwork repro, architecture and landscapes; it is not built for handheld close-ups of 3D objects. - Hardware: it needs a phone with more than one rear lens (wide + telephoto). On a single-lens phone it falls back to a zoom burst. - Requirements: arm64, Android 11 or newer. Best-tested on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Pixel; other devices vary with their camera API. PRICE — NO SUBSCRIPTION Free to use with a shot limit (3 per hour, 10 per day, plus an optional rewarded ad for one more). DualCam Pro is a single $3 purchase that removes the watermark and the limit. Pay once, keep it. No weekly or annual fee. HOW IT DIFFERS FROM UPSCALERS - Remini restores photos with cloud AI on a subscription — a different job that invents detail. DualCapture captures real detail instead. - SuperImage is a free, offline open-source upscaler — a fair choice if you want post-hoc upscaling of existing images. - Samsung Expert RAW and Pixel Super Res Zoom do on-device multi-frame capture, but stay locked to their own hardware. DualCapture works across vendors. If your subjects are flat and a couple of metres away, try a few shots and compare the center crop against your stock camera. Let the before/after decide.
