QRivacy: Opt Out Loud

Not everyone wants to be content. QRivacy gives you a unique QR code to wear: on a sticker, a badge, a phone case or your clothes. Anyone filming you can scan it and read, plainly, that you haven't agreed to be filmed or posted. If your code turns up online anyway, you hear about it. People who scan it can tell you, anonymously, where the footage has appeared, and we also search a number of public platforms for posts that mention or link to your code. Each sighting arrives privately in this app. Reporters never learn who you are, and you never learn who they are. WHAT THE APP DOES • Your code, in a moment. Open it full screen, at full brightness, from the app, a home-screen widget, a Quick Settings tile or a long press on the app icon. • Say it out loud. The app reads your code phonetically ("Q R, Alpha Romeo Six Uniform Bravo"), so somebody across a room can note it down without taking your phone. • Sightings, privately. Every link where your code has been reported, with a notification when a new one arrives. Notifications carry no detail unless you choose otherwise, so nobody glancing at your screen learns anything. • Take action. For each sighting, step-by-step guidance on asking that platform to remove it, and a place to track your progress: reported, removed or dismissed. • Your whole account. Change your password, turn on two-factor authentication, lock the app with your fingerprint or face, see and sign out your devices, pause reports, or delete your account, all from the app. WHAT QRIVACY IS NOT QRivacy doesn't contact platforms for you and can't promise that anything will be taken down. It gives you a clear record and the right steps; the request is yours to make. It is not a surveillance tool. The app doesn't use your camera, photos, contacts or location, and it never scans faces. YOUR DATA An account needs an email address and your country, which we use to show you the right legal guidance and support lines. That's all. We don't ask for your name. No advertising, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Your code is free. Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. QRivacy is made by QRivacy Ltd, a UK company.
