Mine every diamond. The ground you walk through does not come back. Press the cell you want to step into. The miner cuts it, walks in — and what he leaves behind is a tunnel, which is not somewhere he can stand again. So the order you take the seam in is the whole puzzle, and a wrong one strands you in a hole of your own making. The board teaches itself, and there is no hint text for any of it: Packed earth is one cut. Stone takes two, and shows you the crack after the first. A mine-cart rail cuts once and then carries you until something stops it. Solid steel never opens at all — and it is the one cell with no ore in it, because there is nothing in it worth digging for. Later on, a pair of cave mouths: step into one, come out of the other, both cut in a single move. Nobody has to be told earth is easier than stone and stone is easier than steel. The materials are the rules. ONE HUNDRED STAGES, ALL OF THEM SOLVABLE Every board was generated and then certified by two independent implementations of the rules that have to agree line for line — including the exact shortest route. Nothing here was placed by hand and hoped for. NOTHING ON THE BOARD BUT THE BOARD No direction pad, no buttons, no back key. You press the cell you want to be in. Stage one is given away: a hand shows you two presses and then leaves you to it, because one press says a cell is a button and the second says the direction is yours to pick. A RUN, AND A BOARD TO PUT IT ON A stage scores what you dug and how long it took; the leaderboard ranks the total of your best hundred.
