Full description

Tell Ajala where you are going in Lagos. It tells you which bus to board, what to shout to the conductor, where to change, and what the fare should be. Maps know the roads. They do not know the buses. Àjàlá does: danfo, korope, keke, okada, BRT and the ferry, with the bus stops, markets and junctions Lagosians actually use. WHAT IT DOES Plan a journey. Type a stop or a landmark, or start from the stop nearest you. You get the fare range, how long it takes, how many changes, and the full itinerary before you board. Follow it step by step. Each leg tells you where to board, what the conductor shouts, and where to drop. Your trip keeps running when the app is in the background, so you can lock your phone and come back to it. The Grid. Live road reports from other travelers: go-slow, accident, road closed, flooded, checkpoint, road clear. See what is happening on your route before you leave, post what you see, add a photo, and say whether a report is still true. Guardians. Give a trusted person your Ajala ID and they can follow your trip while it runs. If something goes wrong, one tap sends them an alert with where you are and what you were doing. Road alerts. Follow the areas you travel through and get a notification when someone reports trouble there. Save the routes you use often. Tell us when a route is wrong or a fare is off, and the next trip gets better for everybody. GOOD TO KNOW Finding a route needs no account. An account is only for posting, replying, following areas, saving routes and adding guardians. Fares are ranges from real trips, not promises. The conductor sets the price on the day.
