Entrance You start in the lower-left corner of an underground maze with a lantern and an hourglass. The way out is a stairway in the far corner, and forty levels lie below the first. Swipe across the maze or press the brass cross-pad, and your runner slides along each passage until the next turn. Corridors Every floor is a generated perfect maze that grows from 6×8 cells to 15×21 as you descend. Torchlight, footprints and a camera that follows you through the wider layouts keep you oriented. The hourglass is set from the shortest route, and the sand left at the end decides between one and three stars. Locked doors Ruby, sapphire and emerald doors stand on the only path out, with up to three keys hidden along the way. Each key can always be reached before its door, so the real puzzle is the order of your detours. Pick up a key, double back, and watch the coloured bar slide open. The exit Clear a stage and the next one unlocks. Endless Descent hands you one torch and a shared hourglass: 75 seconds at the start and 22 more for each level cleared. The Daily Maze gives everyone the same 11×15 layout with two keys. Between runs, answer the Lore quiz with 24 real facts about famous labyrinths, collect ten trophies, and read the Chronicle for stars, keys found, doors opened, steps walked and your last 25 runs. Haptics and the flickering torch can be switched off, and the game plays offline, with no ads and no account.
