UIM.kz Residents is an app for people living in buildings equipped with the UIM intercom and access system. Intercom calls, doors, cameras, requests to the management company and building chats are gathered on one home screen. How to sign in Sign in with the phone number that your homeowners association or management company added to your apartment record. The code arrives via WhatsApp or SMS. No registration and no passwords. After that you can sign in with your fingerprint or a PIN. What the app does • Intercom calls on your phone A visitor calls your apartment from the entrance panel and your phone rings like a regular call, even when it is locked. You see a frame from the panel, talk to the visitor and open the door with one button. • Doors Entrance, gate, barrier: open them with a button on the home screen, no key needed. • Guests Create a pass link for a courier or a friend: they open the right door themselves, without the app and without calling you. You can revoke the link at any time. • Building cameras Live video from yard and entrance cameras that your homeowners association or management company has shared with you. Recordings: pick a time on the timeline, mark the clip you need and it is saved straight to your phone's Gallery, in the "UIM" album. • Requests to the management company Leaking tap, broken light, elevator out of order: describe the problem, attach photos and track the status. When the work is done, accept it or send it back. • Building chats Chats for the building and your entrance, direct messages to neighbours, photos and voice messages. • Intercom voicemail If you miss a call, the visitor can leave a voice message. It is kept for a few days and you can listen to it in the app. • My family Add family members and tenants by phone number, choose what they can use (doors, calls, chats, cameras) and when the intercom rings them: right away, only if you did not answer, or never. • Face access If your building has face recognition terminals, add a face photo for yourself and your family and the door opens without a key. A photo is added only with your consent. • Access cards Hold your intercom card to a phone with NFC. The app reads the card number and sends it to the building administrator to link it to your apartment. • Notices Messages from the homeowners association and management company about repairs, meetings and outages. • Several apartments, one account Apartments in different buildings and with different management companies are shown in one app; switch between them at the top. Comfort Light and dark themes, large text, scheduled Do Not Disturb, Russian, Kazakh and English. Good to know The app works only in buildings connected to UIM. If your number is not found, ask your homeowners association or management company to add it to your apartment record. Data is stored on servers in Kazakhstan. Intercom conversations are not recorded. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → settings → "Delete account") or at https://app.uim.kz/delete-account.
