TUIT Tutors

TUIT Tutors is the app teachers use to run their classes on TUIT, an online English tutoring service in Korea. It covers everything around a class: setting your availability, confirming bookings, teaching the session, and writing feedback afterwards. Any qualified teacher can apply from the app. Signing up means submitting a profile, your teaching background, and a demo video for the TUIT team to review; teaching opens once your account is approved. Students and parents use separate apps. MANAGE YOUR SCHEDULE Add open time slots to your calendar, by grid or by date range. Times are shown in your own time zone. See new booking requests on the home screen. Accept or decline them one at a time, or accept them all at once. Request a schedule change, respond to one the student requests, or cancel a confirmed class with a reason. Connect Google Calendar to sync confirmed classes to a dedicated TUIT calendar. PREPARE BEFORE CLASS Preview the student material PDF and the Teacher's Guide page by page before you start. Test your microphone, speaker, and camera before class. On desktop, pick which devices to use. Use the waiting room to check your camera preview, choose a virtual background, and set your display name. TEACH THE CLASS Host live video sessions with microphone and camera controls and participant tiles. Annotate the material with pen, brush, and text on a shared whiteboard. Students see your writing in real time. On the desktop app, switch microphone, speaker, and camera mid-class, and share a single window or your whole screen when you need material from outside the app. Use the in-class chat, and send emoji praise that pops up on the student's screen. Extend a session yourself when a student joins late, and end it when you are finished. AFTER CLASS Write and edit feedback right after the session, from the home screen, or from the class details later. Browse past and cancelled classes with search and filters. Open the report, the conversation script, and the AI analysis for a completed class, when they are ready. Replay a class with video or audio, the subtitle script, and the whiteboard on a single timeline, for two weeks after the class. Tap a script line to jump to that moment. STAY IN TOUCH Message parents one-to-one, with a toggle to translate what they send. Get push notifications and catch up on them in the in-app notification list. Reach the TUIT team through the in-app support chat. NOTES Classes are recorded so that tutors, students, and parents can review them afterwards. Live video runs on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The web version is for scheduling, history, and review. There are no in-app purchases. You can request account deletion from your profile. Deletion is held while you still have confirmed upcoming classes; cancel or finish them first.
