SimpleQRShare: Send to Anyone

SimpleQRShare sends files to people who have nothing set up. Pick what to send and show a QR code; they scan it with their camera and download in a browser. It works the same way whether they have an iPhone, an Android phone or a computer. WHAT YOU DON'T NEED • An app on their side — a camera and a browser are enough • An account, or swapping contact details • The internet — files go straight from your device to theirs, never to the cloud • A Wi-Fi network — if there isn't one, the app creates a temporary one • The same brand or system — anything with a browser can receive • A cable, or storage permission HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick files or a folder — or choose SimpleQRShare from the Share menu of your gallery or file manager. 2. Tap "Share on current Wi-Fi" or "Create a Wi-Fi and share", and show the QR code. 3. They scan it and download from the page that opens. GOOD FOR • Giving photos or videos to someone with an iPhone • Moving files from your phone to your computer • Sharing with no signal, or without using mobile data • Handing out material to a whole class or meeting KEY FEATURES ■ Works without any Wi-Fi "Create a Wi-Fi and share" makes your device a temporary access point and shows two QR codes: one to join the Wi-Fi (no password typing), one to open the download page. Works with the standard camera on iPhone and Android, and shuts down by itself when you stop sharing. ■ Send from other apps' Share menus Files are copied into the app first, so the share keeps working after the other app closes. ■ You decide how many, and for how long Up to 10 people at the same time, for 5 minutes to 3 hours. When the time runs out, new downloads stop and running transfers finish. Add ten minutes or end the share at any moment. ■ Choose who can receive Ask receivers for a 4-digit PIN, new for every share, and limit each device to one download (Settings → Receiving). ■ Watch it happen The sharing screen shows each receiver's progress live. ■ One ZIP, or file by file Several files and folders arrive as a single ZIP. Receivers can also take files one at a time, and those downloads resume after a dropped connection. ■ In the receiver's language The download page follows the receiver's browser language. ■ QR codes that are easy to scan Tap a QR code to enlarge it. Optional decoration in your theme's colours falls back to plain black and white if it would be harder to scan. ■ Tablets and themes A large landscape screen shows the QR codes on one half, to turn toward your receivers. Five themes also style the download page. BEFORE YOU INSTALL • This app is for people near you: their device joins your Wi-Fi, or the Wi-Fi this app creates. It cannot send to someone far away. • It shares files and folders, not text or links on their own. • Files go one way. Receivers cannot send files back. NO ADS · NO TRACKING · NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED Everything runs on your device. No analytics SDKs, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded to the internet. Read the privacy policy under Settings → Other for details. PRIVACY AND SAFETY Each share is served at a randomly generated address, so others on the same network can't reach your files by guessing. Receivers can only download what you picked. The share exists only while it's running: tap "Stop sharing" and access ends immediately. Connections use plain HTTP so receivers never see a certificate warning. On the temporary hotspot the Wi-Fi link itself is encrypted; on an ordinary network, avoid confidential files on public Wi-Fi.
