Full description
■ Another way to look at what you eat Shoku Labo is a meal log built around the antioxidant components in your food — vitamin C, vitamin E, carotenoids and polyphenols. Take a photo of your meal and the app works out an "antioxidant score" from the amounts of those components in the ingredients it identifies. Most food apps count what to cut down on. This one counts what is in your meals. Nothing is subtracted; the day only adds up. ■ Three steps 1. Photograph your meal 2. AI identifies the ingredients, amounts and how they were cooked (you can correct anything before saving) 3. Save, and the meal is logged with its antioxidant score You can also log from a screenshot of a recipe page. ■ Free features - Logging by photo, with no limit You can edit what the AI identified before saving, and set the portion to small, regular or large. - Logging from a recipe screenshot Reads a recipe you cooked and logs it for the number of servings you ate. - The antioxidant score Calculated from published composition values for the foods you logged. - Three goal levels 1,200 / 2,500 / 5,500 points a day. Start at the first one. - Today's antioxidant ranking The foods that contributed most to today's score. - One-tap logging of a usual meal Meals you eat often can be logged again without a photo. - Logging streaks Antioxidant Buddy celebrates at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. - Antioxidant Buddy's food facts One a day, each with the database or institution it came from. - The last 7 days, with a graph - Share cards for social media - No ads. The app contains no advertising at all. ■ Paid plan (a monthly subscription) - Your full history The free plan shows the last 7 days. Everything you log is kept, and the paid plan opens all of it. - Insights from your records (today, this week, this month) How much of 11 nutrients your records contained. - Related studies Studies picked to match the foods you actually logged. - Your antioxidant balance Where your meals lean across vitamin C, vitamin E, carotenoids and polyphenols. - Antioxidant figures for drinks - A monthly summary card The price is shown on the purchase screen in the app. ■ Where the numbers come from - Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan, 2020 (Eighth Revised Edition), 2023 supplement, published by Japan's MEXT — 2,538 foods - USDA Database for the Flavonoid Content of Selected Foods - USDA Database for the Isoflavone Content of Selected Foods - USDA Database for the Proanthocyanidin Content of Selected Foods - Chlorogenic acid values from published measurements The antioxidant score is a number Shoku Labo calculates with its own formula from the composition values in those public sources. ■ Please note - The antioxidant score is Shoku Labo's own dietary indicator of how rich a meal is in certain components. It does not measure or guarantee anything about your body. - This app is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please consult a physician or other qualified professional for decisions about your health. - AI recognition of ingredients and amounts contains errors. Please check and correct what it identified before saving. - Photos are sent only for recognition and are not stored on our servers. - The paid plan is an auto-renewing subscription. You can cancel any time from your Google Play subscription settings. ■ Operator Kpin Studio Privacy Policy: https://shoku-labo.web.app/en/privacy Terms of Service: https://shoku-labo.web.app/en/terms Seller Information: https://shoku-labo.web.app/en/tokushoho
