Full description
ChartDojo teaches you to read stock charts by asking you to read them — not by asking you to read text. You look at a chart, you answer, and then you find out what the pattern was called and how the textbook reads it. 💡 Who it is for ・People who know the vocabulary but cannot spot the shapes on a real chart ・People who bought a candlestick book and never finished it ・People who have heard of moving averages and RSI but never used them ・People who want to build this up a few minutes at a time 🚀 What it does ◆ Learn by answering ・Look at a chart and choose "up", "down" or "neither" ・The answer screen shows the technique's name, the textbook reading, and exactly which bars formed the shape ・You can also be asked to name the pattern from five choices, or both questions on the same chart ◆ Teach → practise → revisit ・Each session first explains the techniques it is about to ask ・Once you have answered a technique correctly three times, the explanation stops appearing ・Techniques come back after 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14 days. New ones come first, ones you got wrong come next, and ones you know come back only when they are due ◆ Three belts ・White (31 techniques) — learn the basic shapes ・Brown (31 techniques) — the ones that are easy to confuse ・Black (62 techniques) — real charts, and you find the shape yourself ◆ A reference of 122 techniques ・Candlesticks, chart patterns, moving averages, oscillators, the Sakata methods, and techniques from outside Japan ・Every entry has a worked example chart, the definition, the textbook reading, what it is confused with, and its source ・Swipe from one to the next. Search by Japanese name, alias or English name ・⚠ Where sources disagree, the app says so rather than picking a side for you ◆ More than candlesticks ・Heikin-Ashi, Renko and Point & Figure ・RSI and MACD are drawn in a panel below the price ・Volume profile ・Bollinger Bands, and moving averages drawn in separate colours ◆ Never seen a chart before? ・A section that starts from the body, the wicks and the volume bars ◆ Your record ・A daily log of how many you answered, how many you got right, and which techniques you practised ・Accuracy per technique, and you can erase just the one you want to start over ⚙️ Comfort ・Light, dark, or follow the system ・Four text sizes ・Candle colours in the Japanese style (up is red) or the Western style (up is green) ・Pinch to zoom and drag to pan any chart ⚠️ Important ・This is a learning app. It is not investment advice and not a solicitation. We are not a registered financial instruments business operator ・The "correct answer" is the textbook reading of a pattern. It does not predict or guarantee prices ・Charts are synthetic, or past movements anonymised and rebased to an index. No ticker, real price or date is shown ・The app cannot place trades and connects to no brokerage account ・Investment decisions and actions are entirely your own responsibility 📶 About the network The learning side of the app makes no network requests at all — every question and every reference entry ships inside it. The only traffic is fetching ads. Provided by HammersLab Contact: [email protected]
