「AR Eye（エイアール・アイ）」は白内障手術の術前・術後の見え方をシミュレーションできる医師監修の無料AR（Augumented Reality: 拡張現実）アプリです。スマートフォンのカメラを通して実在する風景にバーチャルの視覚情報を重ねて表示することで、これまで二次元シミュレーション画像では表現することが難しかった、実生活における白内障の術前・術後の見え方を体験できるようになります。白内障は加齢などにより眼の中のレンズの役割を果たす水晶体が白く濁って見えにくくなる病気です。白内障の手術では白く濁った水晶体を吸引除去し、その代わりとなる人工の「眼内レンズ」を挿入します。手術後は視機能の改善が期待されますが、眼内レンズの種類によって見え方が異なるため、実際に眼内レンズを挿入した患者さんの中には、期待した見え方と術後の見え方にギャップを感じる方もいます。本アプリは患者さんの日常環境下でも、術前に見え方を疑似体験することで、ご自身のライフスタイルに適した眼内レンズの選択をサポートします。また、白内障を発症した場合の見え方も確認できるため、白内障患者さんのご家族が患者さんの感じている不自由さを実体験し、白内障への理解を深めることも期待できます。本アプリは、ご使用の端末のカメラ性能により、シミュレーション結果に差異が生じる場合があります。また、できる限り多くの端末に対応できるよう努めておりますが、一部の機種には対応していない場合があります。あらかじめご了承ください。

白内障手術の術前・術後の見え方をシミュレーションできる医師監修の無料AR（Augmented Reality: 拡張現実）アプリ「AR Eye（エイアール・アイ）」をバージョンアップし、提供を開始しました。 今回のバージョンアップでは、術後の見え方をシミュレーションする際に、白内障手術用の多焦点眼内レンズの種類として、新たに「連続焦点/3 焦点」タイプと「焦点拡張」タイプの見え方を比較できるようになりました。 患者さんは、本アプリにより「単焦点眼内レンズ」「多焦点眼内レンズ 連続焦点/3 焦点」「多焦点眼内レンズ 焦点拡張」それぞれの見え方や、夜間の光の見え方のシミュレーション、遠距離・近距離の見え方を疑似体験することができます。 本アプリは、ご使用の端末のカメラ性能により、シミュレーション結果に差異が生じる場合があります。 また、できる限り多くの端末に対応できるよう努めておりますが、一部の機種には対応していない場合があります。あらかじめご了承ください。
