Benvenuti ad Antas. Questa sarà la tua guida in questo viaggio immaginario tra passato e presente; ti porterò alla scoperta della Valle di Antas e dei suoi tesori archeologici nascosti. La valle di Antas è un delizioso angolo di paradiso, nascosto tra le montagne del territorio di Fluminimaggiore, ricco d’acqua, boschi, selvaggina e minerali come piombo, ferro e soprattutto argento, infatti è grazie alla presenza di grandi quantità di questo metallo che la Sardegna, fin da tempi antichissimi, veniva chiamata l'isola dalle vene d'argento. Il territorio di Antas venne scelto dai nostri antenati come luogo di abitazione e di preghiera a partire da molti secoli prima della nascita di Cristo. Il primo popolo che ha vissuto qui è quello dei Nuragici, qualche secolo dopo arrivarono i Cartaginesi e poi i Romani.
