My Books Archive

My Books Archive is a catalogue of the books you actually own. Point the camera at the barcode on the back cover and the book is filed: title, author, publisher, cover, page count and description arrive on their own. Nothing to type. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan the barcode (ISBN) and add a book in two seconds • Search by title or author when there is no barcode — older books do not have one • Photograph the cover of a book too old to have one: the words on it find the book, and the photograph becomes its cover • Organise by room: study, bedroom, living room. You choose the names • Organise by genre: fiction, history, crime… the list is yours, and you can edit it • Record who borrowed a book, so you always know where it went • Rate it, and keep your own private notes SHARE WITH FRIENDS Start a group, invite people with a code, and search one shelf made of everybody's books. Find out that the book you were about to buy is already two streets away. These stay private, always: your notes, your rating, and the room a book is kept in. Nobody joins a group without first reading, in full, what the others will see — and you can leave whenever you want.
