Full description
Somewhere above the city, the Great Orrery has seized. Every gear has stopped, every lamp has gone dark, and you are the last winder left who knows how to start it turning again. CogTumble is an offline rotation puzzle. Each hall is a plate of interlocking cogs. Tap a cog to turn it a quarter-turn; line its teeth up with its neighbours and current walks out from the core, hall by hall, until every lamp is lit. It stays honest for about two halls. Then the Meshworks start: cogs in a coral collar drag every neighbour the other way when you turn them, so the obvious move is rarely the right one, and a clean solve becomes a small act of planning rather than trial and error. WHAT YOU GET • 60 hand-tuned halls across five worlds, from the quiet service galleries down to the core itself • A meshing mechanic that changes how you read the board instead of just adding pieces • Three stars per hall, awarded against a real par — the game knows the shortest way home and asks you to find it • Three in-round powers with distinct jobs: Realign marks the strongest turn, Backstep takes one back, Lockdown holds the mesh still for three turns • A workshop of twelve permanent upgrades bought with the medals you earn: free powers on entry, a better cut of the takings, more slack on a three-star run • Twelve medals tied to what you actually do — clear ten halls, finish one without spending a power, take the daily winding seven days running • A daily winding that hands over a tin of medals once a day, with a streak worth keeping • A record of every hall you have lit, every star collected, and every turn it took BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE WITH No account. No advertising. No network. No timers pushing you to come back. The whole machine runs on your device, works in airplane mode, and remembers exactly where you stopped — including a hall you walked away from mid-turn. Reduced-motion and shape-marker options are in Controls for anyone who wants the board calmer or needs more than colour to read it. Turn the cogs. Light the machine.
