Full description
Check whether upstairs footsteps, a neighbor's music, construction or traffic noise goes over the limit. Answer three quick questions and each measurement is judged minute by minute against the right reference: Korea's apartment impact-noise rule or the WHO community-noise guideline. Whether it went over is always free. Noise Meter turns your phone into a real-time decibel meter and sound level meter for everyday noise checks. Open the app to see the current dB level on an analog gauge and digital readout. Follow changes on a live 60-second chart and review MIN, AVG (Leq), MAX and PEAK values. Choose A/C/Z frequency weighting or Fast/Slow response, adjust the calibration offset for your device, then save the session for free. Saved-result details, text sharing, and CSV require Premium. MEASURE AT A GLANCE - Real-time decibel (dB) reading - Analog gauge and clear digital display - MIN / AVG (Leq) / MAX / PEAK levels - Live 60-second noise chart - Pause, reset and save sessions - Noise-level reference guide ADJUST THE METER - A, C and Z frequency weighting - Fast (125 ms) and Slow (1 s) response - Per-device calibration offset SAVE AND SHARE - Measurement history with labels - Saved-result details and timeline with Premium - Text result sharing with Premium - CSV export with Premium PREMIUM, ONE-TIME PURCHASE - 1/3-octave spectrum analyzer with peak hold - L10 / L50 / L90 statistics - NIOSH and OSHA dose estimates with 8-hour TWA - Saved-result details and timelines - CSV export USE IT TO CHECK - Noise at home or from nearby rooms - Office, cafe and street sound levels - TV, music and speaker volume - General workplace noise awareness PRIVATE BY DESIGN Audio is analyzed on your device and is not stored or uploaded. REFERENCE ONLY Phone microphones and readings vary by device and environment. Noise Meter does not replace a calibrated professional sound level meter and should not be used as legal evidence or as the sole basis for health and workplace-safety decisions.

What's new

Pick your noise situation on the first screen and every measurement is judged against the right limit. The verdict now sits right under the meter, and a bolder icon is easier to spot.
