Curl House

Curl House is a curling game built on a real stone-and-ice simulation. A full-size sheet, granite stones with real weight and spin, and every shot decided by line, turn and weight. LINE, TURN AND WEIGHT Drag anywhere on the ice to set the skip's broom, pick an in-turn or an out-turn, then press the stone pad and pull back for the weight. The meter shows the Guard, Draw, Takeout and Peel zones, and a steady release gives a Perfect throw. THE STONE REALLY CURLS The stone curls more as it slows down, about a metre on a draw to the button. Stones collide, pass spin to each other and roll out, knock each other off the sheet or stop on the hog line. Nothing is scripted. SWEEP IT HOME Hold SWEEP and tap on the beat to sweep between the hog line and the tee line. Sweeping carries the stone further and straightens its path, but your sweepers get tired. REAL CURLING RULES Eight stones per team, the free guard zone for the first four stones, the hammer going to the team that did not score, blank ends and extra ends on a tie. Play 4-end or 6-end games. EIGHT RIVAL SKIPS Eight fictional skips, each with a style of their own: soft draws, centre guards, heavy takeouts, freezes, come-arounds and peels. They read the stones in the house, choose their shot and throw it through the same physics as you, so they can miss too. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Tour: beat the rivals one by one and earn up to three stars per match. - Quick Game: play any rival you have already unlocked. - Draw Challenge: ten draws to the button, chasing your personal best. THE PRO SHOP Rink Points from your matches buy five upgrade lines over five levels: delivery, line, sweepers, grip and stamina. Every card shows the real numbers the game uses. STATS AND RANKS Five ranks from Club Novice to Grand Skip, wins and losses, ends won, three-enders and steals, your best draw and your recent matches end by end. A COACH ON THE FIRST END The first end walks you through setting the broom, choosing the turn, pulling the weight, sweeping and playing a takeout, one step at a time.
