BantayJuan

BantayJuan is an independent community incident-reporting app operated by SBB Innovations. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or a representative of any government entity, including the Cebu City and Lapu-Lapu City governments. GOVERNMENT INFORMATION SOURCES Some advisories republish publicly available government announcements. Original sources: • Cebu City Government — Announcements: https://www.cebucity.gov.ph/category/announcements/ • Lapu-Lapu City Government — Official website: https://lapulapucity.gov.ph/ • Philippine Information Agency — News: https://pia.gov.ph/news/ Visit the original sources to verify the complete announcement, publication date, and any updates. Republishing information does not imply government affiliation or endorsement. Community incident reports submitted by users are separate from these government announcements. REPORT COMMUNITY CONCERNS Capture a new photo or a video of up to 30 seconds inside the app. Existing photos and videos cannot be selected from the device, helping preserve evidence integrity. Add an optional description and GPS location. Submit without creating a citizen account. BantayJuan sends reports through the privately operated Pantepoptes platform to participating operators for the selected area. Operators can review reports and coordinate participating field personnel. Submission does not guarantee government receipt, emergency dispatch, or a response. Save the private tracking code to view limited, public-safe progress updates. CALLS AND ALERTS Where available, video calls connect you to a participating Pantepoptes operator, not directly to the official 911 emergency service. Operators can return missed calls to the same BantayJuan installation. Camera and microphone access starts when you choose to start or answer a call. A phone-dialer call to 911 is separate from an in-app video call. Key features: • Community incident reporting without a citizen account • Live photo and video capture • GPS-based city matching • Private report tracking • Area-based routing to participating operators • Advisory map and optional advisory notifications • Operator video calls and callbacks where available • No advertising BantayJuan does not ask for your name, phone number, email address, or contacts to submit a report. Report content may still reveal identifying details; avoid including unnecessary personal information. BantayJuan is not a replacement for emergency services. In immediate danger, call 911 using your phone or contact the relevant emergency service directly.
