PRV8 5G Connect Lite

BEFORE YOU INSTALL This app does nothing on a consumer SIM. For phones on a Private LTE or 5G Network. It requires a SIM or eSIM that is provisioned with the access rules this app is authorized to use. Without that SIM it will open, report that it is waiting for a provisioned SIM, and cannot run its intended features. PRV8 can work with you and your SIM or eSIM provider on proper provisioning. PRV8 5G Connect Lite implements your Private Network's settings on your phone and keeps them there. Install it, and the SIM your organization gave you gets the right PLMN ID settings, the right network types, and the right APN. The app applies them again after a restart or a SIM change, so they stay in place without anyone touching Settings. WHAT IT SHOWS • Whether you're connected, searching for the network, or blocked • The network, the network types in use (5G + LTE) and the APN the phone is using; a different APN is shown in amber • Which SIM carries data, calls and messages on a dual-SIM phone, with what to change in Settings when the private network is in range • One button, Re-apply network settings, that puts every setting back WHEN THE PHONE STOPS TRYING THE NETWORK If the network turns the SIM away, a phone can put that network on its blocked FPLMN list and stop trying it, even after the problem is fixed. The app tells you when that has happened, and Re-apply takes the network off the list. Other networks on the list are left as they are. SUPPORT The Support screen shows the SIM's details, whether the app is enabled for the SIM, the network settings in use, blocked networks and the last time the settings were applied. Email support or Share report sends a plain-text report, through the app you choose, to your network administrator. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-in • No internet permission: the app cannot send anything anywhere by itself • No location, no ads, no analytics, no tracking • The report leaves the phone only when you send it, and holds no location or personal data HOW IT WORKS The app works only on SIMs that grant it access. Your network operator provisions the SIM with access rules for apps signed by PRV8, and Android lets the app manage that SIM's network settings and nothing else. Without such a SIM the app changes nothing. GOOD TO KNOW • Install only one PRV8 network app on a phone.
