Riposte Rally

Riposte Rally is a side-on épée fencing game built on a real bout simulation. Two fencers, one lit metal strip, and every touch decided by distance, timing and nerve. FOOTWORK AND DISTANCE Hold and drag on the left side of the screen to advance and retreat. Footwork has real acceleration and speed limits, and a ruler under the strip shows when your rival is in lunge range. Double-tap backwards for a quick jump back out of danger. LUNGE, PARRY, RIPOSTE Tap the high or low line on the right side to lunge — hold longer before releasing for a deeper lunge. Swipe up or down to parry high or low: meet the attack on the right line inside the parry window and the blade is deflected, then tap to riposte before your rival recovers. Two fingers launch a flèche, a running attack with long reach and a long recovery. REAL ÉPÉE RULES The whole body is target. If both fencers land within the 40 ms lockout, both score a double touch, and the scoring box lights green and red just like the real thing. First to five touches wins, with a bout clock and a priority minute if it ends level. LEGS MATTER Every step and every lunge drains your Legs. Tired legs mean slower footwork, a shorter lunge and a longer recovery, so attacking all the time gets punished. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Circuit: eight fictional rivals, each with their own style — patient, aggressive, counter-punchers and runners. Earn up to three stars per round. - Quick Bout: fence any rival you have already unlocked. - Parry Drill: a training dummy attacks on random lines, faster and faster, until you miss. THE ARMOURY Marks earned from touches and wins buy five upgrade lines over five levels: Footwork, Point Control, Parry Timing, Legs and Riposte. Every card shows the real numbers the bout simulation uses. THE RECORD Five ranks from Novice to Grand Maître, career stats for bouts, touches, parries, ripostes and doubles, your best drill streak and your recent bouts.
